Equity Trust has a long standing involvement with tennis in London and is the major sponsor of the iconic London event, the Equity Trust Classic.  The Equity Trust Classic is part of the Women's Tennis Association's (WTA) tour and is played in the first week of January each year at the Equity Trust Tennis Centre in London.

In recent years, some of the world’s most iconic female athletes have headlined the Equity Trust Classic. Superstars such as Ana Ivanovic, Venus Williams and Caroline Wozniacki have wowed crowds and created a buzz around the tournament.
